Comments: Wow, it's so quiet in here.
I blame the American School Holidays Placement Department--er--Thingy! =Ž
Now, being from Australia, I expect that the arrangement of school holidays are different to that of America.
I don't know, but I think mum said that, like, it's school non-stop for 9 months, followed by a 3 month summer holiday break, right? Well, it's different for us Aussies.
Holidays follow a pattern of approx. 10 weeks of school, then 1 week of easter holidays, approx. 10 weeks of school, then 2 weeks of end-of-semester holidays, approx. 10 weeks of school, then 2 weeks of September holidays (yay!), then approx. 10 weeks of school, followed by 6 weeks of Christmas Holidays! Whee!!
Methinks American kids and college/university students should get a more scattered holiday routine =D
What? Oh right! This is a broomsticks guestbook!! lol, oh well. That happens some times ;)

Actually, so-called "year around schooling" is starting to happen at some grade
schools around here (6-12 years old).
