The VisWall-9hd at the Centre for Comparative Genomics (CCG) at Murdoch University in Perth, West Australia was upgraded with new projectors. The original system was installed in 2006.
The display features 9 native HD projectors (1920x1080p) for an aggregate resolution of more than 18 million pixels.
The display is used to visualize the results of comparative genomic analysis. The maps that are generated have incredible detail and benefit greatly from high resolution display. In addition, the size of the display makes it ideal for small group collaboration.
